Simple CBD Coffee Soap Recipe

The classic peppermint mocha drink is back in stock at Starbucks for the holidays. This is one of my go to drinks during the holidays, so I had to mimic this and make this CBD peppermint mocha soap! The coffee grounds exfoliate and bring caffeine to the skin, great for morning showers. Peppermint essential oil is great for clearing up morning brain fog. I love to use this CBD coffee soap in the mornings and our CBD charcoal soap for nighttime showers.

Equipment

• Sharp Knife to Cut Soap Base
• Large Mixing Bowl
• Spoon
• Microwave
• Soap Loaf Mold

Ingredients

• 2 lbs Shea Butter Soap Base
• 10 tbsp Ground Coffee
• ¾ tsp Peppermint Essential Oil
• 1 handful Coffee Beans optional, to decorate the top
• 10 mL Simply Add CBD™ Skincare Oil ≈ 25 mg CBD per bar

Instructions

How to Make

• Cut up the shea butter soap base into cubes and put it in your large, microwave safe bowl.
• Melt on high for 30 second spurts, stirring after the 30 seconds is up. Repeat this until all of the soap base is completely melted.
• Once the soap base is completely melted, add in Simply Add CBD™ Skincare Oil, coffee grounds, and peppermint essential oil.
• Give it a good stir and make sure everything is evenly combined.
• Pour into your soap mold & immediately add coffee beans on top, if you'd like.
• Let sit in the soap mold overnight, and take out in the morning.
• Cut into 1" bars and plastic wrap them right away! This helps to make sure the melt and pour soap will not sweat.
• Enjoy your new CBD peppermint mocha soap!
