What’s in This CBD Shaving Cream Recipe?
Shea Butter – Shea butter is a great moisturizer, so this butter not only helps get a clean shave, but also hydrates while you shave!
Coconut Oil – Coconut oil helps this CBD shaving cream be a little bit slippery so it’s not so hard on your skin and your razor can glide with the cream, not against it.
Olive Oil – Olive oil has so many great nurturing properties to offer the skin. We added it into this recipe because it’s a great lubricant, so you won’t get razor burn or skin irritation from shaving.
Simply Add CBD™ Skincare Oil – We specifically picked hempseed oil as our carrier oil for our Skincare Oil because of the massive amounts of benefits it has for the skin.
How to Make CBD Shaving Cream Recipe
Step 1:
Melt down the shea butter and coconut oil either in a double boiler, microwave, or a small crock pot. Once fully melted, remove from heat.
Step 2:
Add in the olive oil and stir. Once it cools a little bit, add your essential oil and Simply Add CBD™ Skincare Oil. Stir really well.
Step 3:
Set it in the freezer for about an hour. Get the cream to set up a bit, but don’t let it get solid.
Step 4:
Then, whip up the mixture with an immersion blender then add it to an airtight 8 oz jar for storage.
Use it up within 6 months!

Simple CBD Shaving Cream Recipe
Equipment
- Spoon
- Measuring cups
- Airtight Storage Jar
- Small Crock Pot
- Stick Blender
Ingredients
- ½ cup Shea Butter
- ½ cup Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
- ⅛ cup Olive Oil
- 5 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
- 5 drops Frankincense Essential Oil
- 10 mL Simply Add CBD™ Skincare Oil ≈ 250 mg CBD
Instructions
- Melt the shea butter and coconut oil in a small crockpot, microwave, or double boiler method. Stir once in a while to prevent burning. Once fully melted, remove from heat.
- Add the olive oil, essential oils, & Simply Add CBD™ Skincare Oil. Stir until well combined.
- Stick in the freezer for just under an hour until the mixture is firm but not solid.
- Take out of the freezer and stick blend until it becomes light and fluffy, just like shaving cream is. Then, transfer to your 8 oz airtight storage jar, like a mason jar.
- Use this CBD shaving cream up within six months.
