Extreme CBD Reese’s Peanut Butter Brownie Recipe

Ingredients
For the Brownies
- 2 Eggs
- ⅔ cup Flour
- ¾ tsp Baking Powder
- ⅔ cup Cocoa Powder
- 2 cups Sugar
- ¾ tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 sticks Butter
For the Peanut Butter Layer
- 1 Egg
- 2 tbsp Butter softened
- 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
- ¼ cup Peanut Butter
- 14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk can
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 cups Reese's Peanut Butter Cups minis, halved
- 7 ml Simply Add CBD™ Baking Oil ≈ 15 mg CBD per brownie.
For the Reese's Pieces Peanut Butter Topping
- 1¾ cup Chocolate Chips
- ½ cup Peanut Butter divided
- ½ cup Reese's Pieces mini
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350° F / 175° C. Line a 9 x 9 pan with parchment paper.
Brownie Layer
- Using our CBD brownie recipe, we'll make the brownie batter.
- Melt butter in a microwave for 10 seconds at a time until melted, stirring in between.
- Mix the melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract in a large bowl. Then, beat in an egg, one at a time.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Slowly mix this flour mixture into the sugar mixture until the entire mixture is completely mixed.
- Pour the brownie batter into the bottom of your 9 x 9 pan.
Peanut Butter Layer
- Beat cream cheese, butter, and peanut butter until creamy.
- Add the condensed milk, cornstarch, egg, vanilla extract, & Simply Add CBD™ Baking Oil and stir until smooth & creamy. Important: Stir thoroughly for a few minutes to ensure the Simply Add CBD™ Baking Oil is dispersed throughout the mixture. This will ensure each CBD brownie has a more even dosage of CBD. Just make sure to adjust the heat to prevent the mixture from burning.
- Pour the batter on top of the brownie batter carefully.
- Bake for 40 minutes. Remove and cool for about 60 minutes. Then, transfer to the fridge overnight.
Peanut Butter Top
- In a microwave safe bowl, add the chocolate chips and half of the peanut butter. Heat for 15 second increments, until completely melted, stirring in between.
- In a separate microwave safe bowl, add the other half of the peanut butter. Heat for 20 seconds, stir until creamy.
- Spread the chocolate chip mixture on top of the chilled cheesecake brownies. Drizzle the melted peanut butter across the chocolate. Swirl with a toothpick. Add some Reese's pieces.
- Add some Reese's pieces on top! Store in the refrigerator.
