Simple CBD Oreo Dirt Cake Recipe
Equipment
- Measuring cups
- 9" x 13" Pan
Ingredients
- 1 pkg Oreos The 14.3 oz size package of Oreos.
- 6.8 oz Instant Pudding Mix = 2 packages, chocolate or vanilla is best
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar
Dairy
- 12 oz Cool Whip
- 8 oz Cream Cheese original, not the reduced fat
- 3 cups Milk
CBD
- 5 ml Simply Add CBD™ Baking Oil ≈ 10 mg CBD per 6 oz serving
Instructions
Before You Begin
- Leave your cream cheese out for a bit so that it softens before you begin, as this will make this recipe a bit more easier when you get down to making the filling.
Start with the Crust
- Begin by crushing half of the Oreos in to small pieces and spread them into the bottom of the 9" x 13" pan.
CBD Oreo Dirt Cake Filling
- In a large bowl, mix the Cool Whip, softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and Simply Add CBD™ Baking Oil thoroughly.Important: Mix thoroughly at this step for a few extra minutes to ensure the Simply Add CBD™ Baking Oil is dispersed throughout the mixture. This will ensure each serving of CBD Oreo dirt cake has a more even dosage of CBD. You will not have an opportunity to thoroughly mix in the coming steps!
- Pour this thoroughly mixed filling over the crushed Oreo lined pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
Topping Layer
- In the medium sized bowl, mix the milk, pudding mix, and vanilla. Be careful not to splash yourself with the liquid pudding mixture at the beginning (like I did). The pudding will begin to set fast if it sits still, so work to completely mix and pour this mixture over the CBD filling before this happens. Spread evenly.
- Crush up the remaining half package of Oreos into your desired size pieces and sprinkle over the top of the CBD Oreo dirt cake.
Almost Done!!
- The dirt cake has to be chilled. Place it into the refrigerator for 4 hours before serving.
