Ingredients

For the Crust

1¼ cups Flour
½ tsp Salt
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 tbsp Sugar
½ cup Butter cold & diced
3 tbsp Ice Water

For the Pie Filling

1 package Instant Chocolate Pudding
2 cups Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
½ cup Sugar
2 Bananas diced
4 ml Simply Add CBD™ Baking Oil ≈ 12.5 mg CBD per Slice of Pie

For Decoration

1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
3 tbsp Powdered Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 Bananas sliced
¼ cup Chocolate Sauce

Instructions

The Crust

Begin preheating your oven to 400° F or 190° C & make your instant vanilla pudding.
In a large bowl, add the flour, salt, sugar, vanilla extract, egg yolk, and diced butter.
Beat the cold butter into the flour mixture using a hand mixer, until sandy consistency forms.
Add the ice water into the mixture and mix to start forming the dough.
Let the dough chill in your fridge for about 20 minutes.
On a flour dusted working surface, roll out the dough into ½ inch thickness. Then place it in a pie pan, forming it to the pan. Poke the pie shell in various places using a fork and stick in the freezer for 15 minutes.
Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let the pie shell cool completely.

The Filling

In a bowl add the pre-made chocolate pudding, sugar, vanilla extract, 5 tbsp of milk, and Simply Add CBD™ Baking Oil. Stir until combined and fully incorporated.
Important: Mix thoroughly at this step for a few extra minutes to ensure the Simply Add CBD™ Baking Oil is dispersed throughout the mixture. This will ensure each slice of CBD pie has an even dosage of CBD.
In a saucepan, add the rest of the milk and bring to an almost boil.
Then, add the chocolate mixture and stir with a whisk until thick pudding like consistency forms.
Transfer the chocolate filling to the cooled crust.
Arrange the sliced bananas on top of the chocolate pudding filling. Let it chill for 2 hours.
With a stand mixer or hand mixer, whip the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
Transfer the whipped cream on top of the bananas and decorate the pie with sliced bananas and chocolate sauce on top.
