What is a Brookie?

It is a cookie and a brownie together in one delicious dessert. Make sure to use our Simply Add CBD™ Baking Oil in this recipe for a clean and solventless CBD oil.

How to Make CBD Brookies

Brookies:

Step 1:

Preheat your oven to 350° F / 180° C. Line a 9 x 9 pan with parchment paper or grease it.

Step 2: 

In a bowl, mix the melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs together until well combined.

Step 3: 

Then, add the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Pour this into the greased baking pan. Then, put in the oven for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick you stick in the center comes out clean!

Step 4:

Let the brownies cool.

Step 5:

In another bowl, make the cookie mix according to box instructions, and add in the Simply Add CBD™ Baking Oil. Stir well! Set aside.

Step 6:

In a microwave safe bowl, add caramels and milk and put in microwave until melted, stirring in between.

Step 7:

Spread the melted caramels on top of the cooked and cooled brownies, then spread the cookie mixture on top of the melted caramel layer.

Step 8:

Put this back in the oven for about 15 – 20 minutes. Let them cool before serving and drizzle some melted chocolate on top!
